.all about love

I love when I get invited to create art that will represent something no one is capable of expressing. This 45 by 15 feet mural located in the Boston - MA area was one of these special projects I had the privilege to create.

The quote “All About Love” holds a meaningful message to the ones who invited me to make this mural and besides having it written on the mural they also wanted it to have a little bit of their history on it. All of these requests had to perfectly partner with colors that would bring joy to the people who would see it.

I picked pink, orange and yellow to go with that shade of blue which is their special color, then decided to form each letter of the quote by using photographies of the special seasons they had together building that community. To do it so, I used a very popular Brazilian technique of collage called “lambe-lambe” and with lots of graffiti references I created much more than a simple art on a wall, I eternalized their story in form of art.
