The art piece “Redentor”, 2022 remained as a part of an exhibition for five months in celebration of the Hispanic Heritage. I was the only Brazilian Artist chosen to showcase one of my arts as a part of a group of 27 Hispanic visual artists from Central Florida.

“Redentor”, 2022 is a piece that represents one of the most famous landmarks for Brazilian, specially to the ones who were born in Rio de Janeiro like me. I used a mix of techniques to compose this piece, one in special called “lambe-lambe”, a different type of collage which was very popular in Brazil in the 70’s and has been used as an artistic expression ever since then. The combination of these elements with the bright colors communicate to the viewers all the joy Brazilian people have and how our energy is so enveloping.

It was a true honor to represent my Country and have my Art displayed at the Orlando’s City Hall Terrace Gallery, and to have the opportunity to meet so many great artists and art lovers.
